Brand Identity Professional
Jennifer Long, Founder and Creative Director of Long Design has more than 20 years experience solving brand identity issues, primarily for start-ups and emerging companies with highly distinctive, appropriate results.
She began her career working with award-winning design firms in Dallas (Sullivan Perkins) and New York (Pentagram Design) before launching Long Design. Jennifer works directly with core executive teams to ensure easy accessibility and a collaborative tone.
Unique to her industry, she is the sole architect of her work, ensuring clients get an original design, not something “off the rack” or by a designer-in-training. Rather than staff and manage a large agency, she leads a “virtual team” of highly skilled professionals including website, application programmers, copywriters, and naming experts. This approach has attracted a long list of entrepreneurial clients from emerging companies that appreciate the need to work closely, quickly, and effectively.
Jennifer Long has won several prestigious design awards including a Webby for her work on The WELL and recognition by Time magazine for designing one of its top 10 websites of the year. Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a BFA degree in graphic design. She’s also studied at The School of Visual Arts in New York as well as California College of the Arts in Oakland, California. Jennifer recently relocated from Palo Alto, California to Middleburg, Virginia.
